Mastering Smart Brevity: Clear, Concise, and Impactful Communication for Leaders

Tuesday, February 4, 2:30 PM – 3:15 PM

In today’s fast-paced workplace, professionals are bombarded with messages, leaving little time for deep reading or thoughtful responses. Most employees skim communications, asking, “What’s this about?” and “How does it impact me?” The result? Missed updates, stalled projects, and a disconnect from organizational goals.
Gallup reports that only 50% of employees thoroughly read communications from their leaders, and just 20% strongly agree their leaders communicate effectively. Poor communication is costing time, engagement, and productivity across organizations.

This interactive session equips you with Smart Brevity techniques to transform the way you communicate. Drawing from real newsroom strategies that powered Axios Live to global success, you’ll explore a practical framework to craft messages that get to the point — fast. You’ll also hear lessons learned from almost 100 on-stage interviews with Fortune 10 CEOs and small business leaders, uncovering how to make any topic interesting and relevant.
