This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to work directly with ESCA’s Director of Education and Events to help plan and execute our annual Summer Educational Conference. Gain real-world experience in event planning, speaker coordination, activity development, all while building valuable industry connections.

Who is eligible:

Current college students enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields)

Willing to travel and be on-site during the Rising Leaders Summit (February 21-25, 2026, in Houston, TX)
Role overview:
As an Event Planning Intern for the ESCA Rising Leaders Summit 2026, you will work alongside the Director of Education and Events to help produce a high-impact leadership and career development event. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in curating educational content, setting agendas, coordinating networking opportunities, and providing on-site event support.
This internship will run from mid-October 2025 through February 2026, culminating with the Rising Leaders Summit at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, February 23–25, 2026. The role will require travel to Houston and the ability to miss three days of school for event set-up, conference operations, and breakdown.
